Your Role: Project Manager

The firm is entering a phase of strategic transformation, aiming to deliver internal projects that improve efficiency, enhance client experience, and support sustainable growth. This role is central to achieving those objectives by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.We’re looking for a Project Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the firm’s transformation journey. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects that make a real difference; streamlining processes, embedding best practices, and enabling change that positions us as a modern, agile, and client-focused organisation.You’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish, applying PRINCE2 (or equivalent) methodology to ensure strong governance, clear risk management, and measurable benefits.
Key responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Project Manager will include:
You will develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed objectives. Using PRINCE2 or an equivalent methodology, you will apply and tailor best-practice project management approaches to suit each initiative, ensuring full adherence to the firm’s governance framework, including risk, quality, and change control processes.You will identify and actively engage key stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and effective reporting throughout the project lifecycle. This includes preparing and presenting regular progress updates to the Head of Operational Transformation and relevant project boards. You will proactively identify risks and issues, put appropriate mitigation strategies in place, and escalate concerns where necessary.Leading cross-functional project teams, you will ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities while fostering collaboration and maintaining momentum across all phases of delivery. You will also capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices across the firm.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, a detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable approach, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
Professional Credentials & Experience:
The successful candidate will hold a professional certification such as PRINCE2 foundation or an equivalent qualification (e.g., APM PMQ, PMP) and have a proven track record of managing projects in a professional services or similar environment, with a strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
