Your Role: Operations and Facilities Manager

As Operations and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the office and central administrative functions. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure that office, IT, and support services operate effectively, creating a positive experience for both employees and clients. You will also monitor costs and support change management initiatives where relevant.

Your Mission

What you’ll be doing day to day

In this role, your mission is to ensure the office environment is safe, welcoming, and efficient while leading a small central admin team to deliver excellent internal service. You will oversee IT systems, supplier contracts, compliance, and operational processes, ensuring that day-to-day activities run smoothly. Supporting cost management and continuous improvement initiatives will also be a key focus of your work.

You will work closely with the Board of Directors, the leadership team, central admin staff, team co-ordinators, the IT managed service provider, and external service providers to ensure all office and operational functions are delivered effectively and seamlessly.

What You’ll Bring

Skills and experience we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in an operations or facilities role, preferably within a professional services practice. You will have proven ability to manage and motivate a team, with a professional, commercial mindset and a curious, proactive approach. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with excellent planning, organisational, and administrative abilities are essential. You will also be able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
